Walt has a diverse background in the arts. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and the New York Institute of Photography.
In 1975 he visited Key West and stayed for 26 years.While there his work
shifted to reflect the tropical hues of the Caribbean. Walt has given work shops at
The Brookfield Craft Center in Connecticut, and his studio in Key West.
Since moving to Naples his work continues to be bright and colorful. Walt has exhibited up and down the East coast. He works with clay, copper and bronze and watercolors
